ARGHGGHHHHHH!H!!!!!!

http://blogs.theage.com.au/screenplay/archives//009125.html

A Rockstar spokesperson confirmed to Screen Play yesterday that the company had produced a special version of GTA IV to comply with the Australian classification system, which does not currently contain an R18+ rating, but declined to reveal what material had been cut.

The game has been rated R18+ by the British Board of Film Classification, New Zealand’s OFLC and the German Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle. It has been rated M17+ by the Entertainment Software Rating board in North America.

I’m to cross to even write anything in the body of this post relating to it

The fact that rockstar confirmed a few weeks back that we were getting the same version… @#(@#$#!!!

  1. Sucks to be you. Luckily nothing gets censored here in the Netherlands. :)

  2. If you have a Playstation3 you might be able to import the US version, but yeah that really blows. I hope they don’t hack it up too bad…

  3. I think only 2 or 3 things have been censored here in the UK.
In Saudi arabia, they censored pokemon blue.
    Jewish references, apparently.

  4. I’ve only got a 360. It will be fine, they wouldn’t censor the violence. Just the sexual stuff.
    DANG!

  5. For people stuck with a 360: Either wait until it dies and replace it with a PS3 or wait for the inevitable PC release. Of course you could just import the 360 release from the UK.

  6. im on my 3rd 360 (red rings) so I think ill just deal with the fact I might not be able to see a rocking car or something
